Sensorial

  • Kelima-lima deria adalah mekanisma yang mempengaruhi absorbent mind. 
  • Impressions received through touching, smelling, tasting, hearing and seeing allow children to experience, classify, and develop a relationship with their environments. 
  • Sejak lahir, kanak-kanak dah ada sensorial stimuli. Bayi refine deria mereka dengan hanya hidup (simply living). Montessori percaya deria-deria adalah alat penghantar makluat kepada minda.
  • “Child’s early sensory experiences will clarify the process of abstraction”.
  • Jadi bahan-bahan atau apparatus Sensorial dalam Montessori tujuannya adalah untuk memperhalusi lagi deria-deria bukan untuk develop.
  • Kanak-kanak menunjukkan minat terhadap specific sensorial material at different times in the sensitive periods.
  • “The drive to refine will dissapear around the age of six” jadi boleh katakan “The foundation for intelligence is set at six.”
