My name is Nik, a mother of three children and currently residing in Selangor, Malaysia.

It all started when my first son was first homeschooled back in 2013. I then began searching for the appropriate approach in educating them until I fell in love and became passionate about Montessori method.

Soon I realised that I was shifting my way of understanding about childhood development far greater than I ever imagined, which later brought me all the way from Malaysia to Auckland to deepen my understanding about Montessori method. Later became the first Malaysian to attain the AMI 3-6 Certificate.

And no it did not stop there. I then set up the first parent-child Montessori playgroup in my own little way, mainly to benefit toddlers in their childhood development, not to mention the parents as well.

I hope this humble blog that records our journey of homeschooling and applying Montessori method reaches as many readers as possible so as to benefit public as a whole.

I am Sarah. I am a new mother and really interested to apply Montessori method at home for my son. However I am lack of understanding of Montessori method still (maybe not enough), I am interested ti know more. I found out that you went for courses and got AMI Certificate. Can you share your experience regarding your journey to get the certificate, short courses in overseas regarding Montessori?

    Looking forward to your response.
Thank you so much in advance.
